The outer sheath of the Stream 7 cable is rounded to facilitate pulling in-wall cable runs, but the conductors are a unique flat design made of Oxygen-Free-Copper with a cross-sectional area equivalent to a conventional 16-gauge round conductor. Each conductor is insulated in polyethylene to reduce capacitance and dielectric absorption for cleaner high frequencies, while maintaining fidelity. It also features Composilex 2 insulation technology, which minimizes the triboelectric noise produced by conventional insulation materials and now it comes with Dual DNA Helix design, which Wireworld has created for a more efficient channel for electromagnetic energy, thereby preserving more of the delicate information that creates higher fidelity, even over long runs.
