Audience Au24 SX Series Terminated Interconnect Cable RCA 1.5M Trade-In
They introduced the AU24 series of interconnect cables in 1999, and are still making that series 21 years later. That is a testament to the AU24's quality and popularity.
They started with the AU24, which surprised a lot of Audio people because of its thinner gauge, light weight and flexibility. They have continued to redesign and improve the AU24 cable over the years, producing the AU24e, AU24SE and now the AU24SX. Audience describes their new cables:
"....the advancements we have achieved through the use of purer OCC copper (now six nines) and higher quality XLPE dielectric insulation as well as tweaking of geometry as compared to the historic lines of AU24 cables. Audience double cryogenically treats all SX cables in our in-house cryo lab. Each component part of the cable is individually treated, then, after the cables are assembled and tested, we cryo the completed cable. This is process is called CRYO²."
