Walnut Chassis with Natural Aluminum Top Cover - 17" x 10” x 3"
This heavy-duty walnut chassis is designed to handle heavy components, with 0.778” thick sides, dovetail construction and wood braced corners. This unit comes with a 0.88” thick natural aluminum top cover – enough to support heavy transformers without bowing. Large rubber feet are also included, with mounting hardware into inserts to avoid damage to the wood. Optional bottom panels are available in either natural aluminum or satin black powder finish.
Features:
- Heavy duty construction walnut chassis.
- Walnut chassis is 0.778” (19.8 mm) thick - corners are produced with wood bracing & dovetail construction methods (see corner detail photo in Series Spec Sheet in the Download Section). Designed to handle heavy components.
- Top panel is natural aluminum for easy modification and thick enough to support heavy transformers without bowing - 0.08” (2 mm) thick. Fully “framed” support from walnut chassis.
- Top Panel is supplied with protective covering which can also be used as a layout tool.
- Includes four large round rubber feet (0.75” dia. x 0.56” high) with mounting hardware into inserts to avoid wood damage. Hardware is of proper length to allow use of optional bottom plate.
- Optional bottom panels available in either natural aluminum or satin black powder coat.
