Rotary Optical Encoder (for SF Line-1/2/3 Preamps)
This current part used is from Grayhill…and can be used interchangeably with the Oak-Grigsby, Clarostat and Honeywell parts, used during original production.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This Grayhill Encoder installs using the same pcb holes in the LINE series front panel, as the original encoder, but in the opposite direction (they are all in reverse order). The RED wire now connects to the opposite end of the row of pins. RED, GRAY, GRAY, no connection, GRAY. If this re-ordering is not followed, the encoder will be permanently damaged.
